1.AM reception requires a built-in magnetic rod antenna, and the case needs to be plastic, so that the received signal of the magnetic rod antenna will not be shielded. And RR11 is metal shell, which is not suitable for AM.
2. The main feature of RR11 is good stereo effect and small size. Nowadays, in many countries and regions, there are very few AM stations, and the signal is unstable and not stereo. Trying to do a proper AM on RR11 with such a small size is difficult and not matching the current positioning of RR11.
We will consider adding the AM function to the larger radio products in the future.
